I want to have something fun and witty to say. I want to come up with an excuse as to why i have not posted since last week. Truth is, I am jut busy. Life has been giving me some interesting curves to play with lately and I am really enjoying them. Hoping to share more with you soon.

We are saying goodbye the January though and welcoming in February. The month of love. So i gave the page a little facelift. Hope you like it. See you all soon.

Manic Monday

Well, well, well. Hello and welcome to the work week. i don't usually have a whole lot of new stuff to post on mondays. There isn't really a theme. I just wanted to stop by and say hey. This weekend was pretty busy. Sports, meeting people, getting out of town, watching classic movies with new people. The end of one season and the beginning of a whole new one.

The big news today here in New England is the monster of a snow storm that is supposed to hit us tonight and tomorrow. If I had more time, and wasn't so worn out I would have a little something to usher it. I don't, so here is a classic from last year that deserves more attention. Old Man Winter, oh how we hoped you would sleep a little more.

So there is the Old Man and his pets, the Lions of Winter. let's hope that he goes easy on us.

Sketchy Saturday- Drop Tha Puck Edition

It's finally here!!! The long delayed start of the NHL season has finally arrived. It's pretty freaking exciting. i wish my head wasn't s damn clogged with a sinus thing and I could really cheer them on. I am still looking forward to it. So in celebration of Hockey Is Back day i worked up a few of those sketches I did two weeks ago when the lockout ended. I forgot how much fun it is to draw a bear in a hockey jersey. Hopefully there will be more reasons to draw them throughout this sprint of a season.

Thick Chick Thursday- Geektastic Edition

Happy TCT everyone. hope your week is going well. Mine is certainly having its moments.

So today I kind of have a theme for you, if you couldn't guess by the title. I was alerted to a new potential project. So, to prepare for it and works some new stuff up and keep myself fresh, and you all happy I got this posting. I hope you enjoy it

MacSketchy Saturday

Hello all. Hope you weekend is going well. Mine is! Really freaking well actually. Considering the rocky and dramatic start the week had, it's been a damn fun ride since thursday night. Celebrated a birthday for a friend, got paid for work, set up new commissions and went to a hockey game with my dad. THen the icing on the cakes, "Jurassic Park 4" next summer and "A Good Day To Die Hard" will be rated "R". Fantastic stuff.

So to keep the good vibe going i figured I would post some stuff that i have done recently. Some of it needs to be worked up again and fixed but hey its the weekend. What are ya gonna do.

Honestly, I don't have a whole lot to show off right now to you guys. It's been an interesting week to say the least. I got that Bruins post up on Sunday and actually got a bunch of roughs done Monday night. Then Tuesday happened. Anyone that has followed this page for a bit know's that my family is not lacking in the drama department. I know that nobody has a family that is perfect, but "that family member" struck again and kinda knocked me into a weird spot. We wont go into that though. Pressing on.

I have some stuff I will try to scan, good stuff too. But i am playing catch up a bit.

Aside from that I am working on lining up more commissions. So to show off some new skills and stuff that fits the Thick Chick Thursday theme. Here is a recent commission for a lovely lady from the Great White North.

Good afternoon friends.  Hope you are having a good weekend. Mine has been pretty productive. I decided to behave myself and get back to normal a bit and stay in for the weekend. That and it's a tight week money wise. So in keeping with the new years reboot that goes on i worked on rearranging my room/studio/living space. It actually came out pretty well. I cleaned out my closet and tossed a bunch of junk I didnt need.
I also got to look back at some old art that I had from first few years at the Joe Kubert School and some stuff from high school. Yikes. It was rough looking at some of that stuff. Other works were still fresh in my mind. Hopefully one day I will get to work on them again.
I got to writing some more scenes for that big project I talked about a while ago. A little story progression and planning session on Friday night before I passed out early.

Today i finished up a long overdue commission as well. You will be seeing that soon, pending approval.

The big news this weekend though...the NHL lockout has ended. The two sides have come to an agreement, none too soon. I am a huge hockey fan and I am very excited for it. Can't wait to cheer for the Bruins again. So in celebration of that I hit the drawing desk early, as soon as I found out. I have been waiting a long time to post something like this.

Thick Chick Thursday - New Era Edition

Happy New Year all. Hope it is off to a good start for you all. I am working on getting things back on track so that I can  get some new and fun stuff up again for you. Working on finishing up a commission and planning adding some new ones.

I don't really have a lot of stuff to add that's new. I did not want to miss the first TCT of the 2013 though. So maybe you can cut me some slack and I will post the last bit of new stuff for 2012.

You don't know where you could go, unless you see where you been.
