Sketchy Saturday.

Okay. So its been a really freaking busy week. Spent lots of time at the new day job. Working a few double shifts is good for the old wallet but a little tiring. I am very thankful for the new money coming in. The company seems to like me so that is a plus.

On the other hand I have been slacking a little with the artwork. Aside from the new stuff I posted this week. I hope that this month I will have more new fun stuff up too. It is my favorite month after all. Busy few weekends ahead for me as well. Starting tonight we got the Heavenly Bodies/BBW District BBW Bash. If you can make it I highly suggest that you should. It looks like its going to be a good time. I doubt I'm gonna be wearing a costume, I am just going to be looking my best. Helloooo purple tie.

So to add a little something extra to this post I will add a small preview of something I am working on for someone very cool. Ms Kiki Kaboose asked me to do some art for her upcoming website revamp. I am more than happy to oblige her. So here is a little preview of some of the things I got in mind. The finished products will be featured soon as well. Go and check her out too @KikiKaboose

Celebration Both Fun and Somber

So today is the big event at the Heavenly Bodies Labor Day Bash . Its one of the biggest dances of the year and we are all looking forward to it. Even when things are a little down and stressful we can always count on our friends to come out and party and show us all a good time. I am looking forward to it. I wanted to take this time though to honor a friend that a lot of us lost this year.

Our good friend Beth Schrauger aka Madison Aikers passed earlier this year. Its very sad that we lost her. It was a year ago this weekend that i first met Beth and had an awesome time hanging with her and her crew all weekend last Labor Day. I think that Heather is planning an in memoriam moment for her and a few other people we lost this year. Its so sad. So i wanted to do something special for her. I never got around to getting anything done for her while she was still modeling but I like to think that she would have liked these.

RIP Beth.

I wanted to honor both the sweet and nice side of Beth...

And the super sexy side of Madison.

Full Color Friday

Back again with another edition of Full Color Friday. Hope your week has been going alright and that you all get to enjoy the  three day weekend in some manner. It would mean more if i had a job to escape from but I am hoping to go out at some point and see people that i love to party with and have a good time.

Remember that the heavenly Bodies event is going down starting tonight in Burlington MA. Please go and check it out. They have supported my art and treat me very well. If you do go tell them that Mike aka MacSketchy sent you and maybe I can pull some strings on that admission fee. Getting paid in trade sometimes has its benefits ya know.

So today i got something kinda cool. i recently did a plumper version of Giselle from Disney's "Enchanted". I like how it came out and some of you did as well. So I wanted to work with here again. I figured it would be a good featured post on here. You might have noticed her up top of the page already but here she is in all her curvy and plumped up glory.

So here is another take on her with a little something extra. I really enjoy drawing her. SHe has such great lines. Nothing annoying or straight about it slow things down. 

This one is a cool little idea I had too. I've seen a lot of people do their takes on the Disney princesses dressed as their respective antagonists. So here is my spin on it. Not only do we have a plumped up Giselle, but she is in her antagonists makeup and colors. She came out really well. Hoping to do more of this kinda thing soon.
