TCT - Gobble Gobble Edition

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. What better holiday is there for us of the plus sized persuasion? Maybe Christmas if you do it big, but this is my favorite holiday. Sad to say today that I missed out on the good stuff. I had to work the day job most of the day and got a special plate made up for me. Sans gravy and stuffing (grrr) but it was still good. For the first time in 28 years I also missed out on the parade too. I am happy to hear that my niece may have started making it a tradition as she sat through the whole thing. I got a full recap and review from her. Sounds like a good time.

Another year gone by and another holiday season off and running. I said yesterday that I had something special for you all too. So without anymore further ado....

Hope it is all going well for you and yours. 

It's been a big year for me. Happy you all have been along for the ride with me as well. Means a lot.

Now for some things I am thankful for:

Family - love, support, understanding and help when I need it. Those closest to me mean the world and I would not be here without them.

Good friends.- I am not super close with a lot of people but those that I am, see above.

A job- a late addition to this list but a much needed and welcome one.

Good movies - best entertainment money can buy

BBW Fanfest- Where would I be without you all for allowing me to showcase my talent and build my name.

There are some more things I am sure but really i am very thankful this year. The good stuff outweighs the bad,as it should. Here is to another year of caring and supporting and promoting each other.

Thick Chick Thursday

So its beena  crazy week. Started off sunday night getting asked to work up a poster for the Fanfest ladies, then the day job has been giving me all this overtime. My head is reeling. I wanted to come home and get some all new fun stuff up to add to the poster, but in truth, I'm about to crash. I hope to get some stuff scanned and put up this weekend. Until then you will just have to enjoy this.

Hump Day - Busy Busy

Hello all. Hope you are doing well. Settling into Autumn all right? It appears to have finally come in here full time. The leaves are changing and falling fast to the ground. The cool fall air is all around and it feels oh so lovely out.

I've been busy with the day job. The hours keep coming in and I have to take them. Never worked overtime in my life, no job I held offered it, and with this one I will be on my 2nd double shift come tomorrow. Crazy. Trying my best to keep the art flowing, if you follow me on twitter you get a sense of how the day goes at work. Lots of hanging around the warehouse and guarding the grounds. So the art allows me to really explode out. There will be new new stuff and I suppose I should get to work a special Halloween pic since its a week away. Wow.

Well new works aside for a moment. I got an email the other night, Sunday, from Platinum Puzzy. She is, if your recall, one of the ladies that was in charge of organizing and producing BBW Fanfest. It seems I can't go a week without mentioning it so lets face it. It fucking ruled, and its now part of my life. So yeah Platinum emailed me asking how the poster I was doing going, i was slacking big time on it truthfully. She was wondering if I could get anything to her so she could go to the printers on monday with something. Well me not wanting to let anyone down, especially those that care and support me, I did my best and worked til about midnight on this thing. i really like and wanted to give you all a taste of it. i know the event is tomorrow and I will see what she is doing with it. but for now here ya go.

TCT - I was there edition.

Happy Thick Chick Thursday. I've got some new fun stuff for you all. I don't have a lot to add here now, busy with the day job, but keeping up with the art as best I can.

So here we go.

So here is a quick hitter. I colored this beauty that I sketched last year.

Speaking of someone special. So since I was at BBW Fanfest this year, did you know I was? Cause I was. (We get it). Desire Devine wanted me to do a piece featuring all the girls that were showcased there. I did my best and will work on this some more.

I also added  Platinum Puzzy since she was one of the ladies in charge. Can't thank them enough for all they did.

TCT- Snap Back To Reality part 5

So that is pretty much the long and short of it. I could just go on and on about but some of the thoughts and views I have about certain things are best heard and seen. So to help with that I will now do the obligatory Vegas pic post. the good thing about some of these pics is that I have not seem some of them when other people experience Vegas. Some are out of order but the are all real I assure you.

TCT- Snap Back To Reality Edition part 2

Friday morning. This was the biggie. The first day of the BBW Fanfest tradeshow. I have featured my works for sale and promotion a bit before around here. At the Memorial Day Heavenly Bodies bash and at the Club Ample anniversary bash, but nothing with much industry around it. When I was trying to describe what it was like or going to be like to some friends I used the term "Big Girl Convention" and even set it down to "Porn Convention". It turned out that I was pretty accurate there haha. Meeting some of my favorite adult starlets already and seeing the the event was sponsored by FLeshlight should have really made it clear but like i said, I was kind of in a haze all weekend. The best kind of haze possible.  So of course I had met Deisree last night and she was one of the ladies that was running the show. What I didnt realize , nor did she, that i had met Kari aka @PlatinumPuzzy1 the night before on the way to Plush. She saw me in the morning and got me all set. I found my booth and started to get set up. Nervous, sweating from the heat and the booze still in my system and excitement. Well after some shakey hands and trying to get my mind right i got it looking alright. Not the biggest table but I made it work. Really it kinda went with my whole "small town kid steps into the big city" theme I was working.

As amazing as It was getting a chance to have a booth and have work shown off to new people and those that influence and inspire me, what happened when I was setting up will never be forgotten. So remember how I said I met one of the members of the burlesque troop at the club the night before? Well guess where i was stationed across from?

Yeah exactly. The dancer I had met was Ms @KittySpanxalot and the burlesque troop was Voluptuous Entertainment out of SoCal. The head woman in charge of this group. I cans till barely believe I'm saying it. Scarlette VaVoom. The name kinda says it all doesn't it? Did I turn into a giant ball of mush when meeting her? Did i stutter and stammer? Did I think it was a dream? You bet your ass I did. Not only did i get to meet them all, Scarlette, Kitty, Daisi and Coco, but Scarlette recalled us exchanging some messages on Facebook and me saying that I wanted to draw her. I had done some, even posted them on here. It was amazing and really I had the best view for the whole weekend. Those girls are all sexy and hott as you can imagine but also incredibly sweet and nice. I could just go on and on but i wont. They were busy promoting their events and performing on the stage. I finally managed to see them perform sunday, when the asked me to film their routines. Fantastic stuff. You ladies are all incredible, with your routines, costumes and personalities. If all I had good to remember was meeting you all I would be a happy man.

That was not the end of the good time for friday either. Remember this is just the first day. So between being star struck by the Voluptuous girls, seeing some of the other models I recognized I was still working on getting some art sold. I hunkered down at my booth and kept sketching in my sketchbook while getting people to check out my work. Nothing solid yet. As the day went on though a few of the featured girls came over and said hi, asked for my card and I even got a few "Oh yeah, i gotta talk to you again." So awesome.

The next highlight came from a few text messsages. Seems one of my buddies was in Vegas as well and we were working on meeting up and having some fun. The other messages were from Ms Monster and Britney Black. They had finally arrived in Vegas via car and plane and were looking to meetup. they were both featured models on the page and had access to anywhere and everywhere. As you all know I did some promo work for them and they have been some of my biggest supporters so meeting them in person was a real treat. Both very nice and sweet and as beautiful as ever in person. Brit gave me a big hug and huge smile. Ms Monster was nice enough to give me a gift for all the work I'd done for them. Being that we are both huge "Mad Men" fans she gave me "Sterling's Gold" by Roger Sterling. Its a take off on the book the character was writing on the show. It is hilarious and very thoughtful as well. From that moment on it got busier in the show and more and more people took notice.

Closing up the Voluptuous girls looked like they needed some help so of course i volunteered. I took their stuff back to their rooms, got a hug from Scralette and asked if I was going to the White Party later. I said yes.

So yeah the White Party was great. I met my buddy and we got some drinks at the hotel bar then headed up to the party. Yes we looked good, but not as good as the ladies did. Wow. So we got our table and had ourselves a great time. I introduced him to some of the girls i met that day. The Voluptuous girls asked us to join them at the table and we ended up enjoying the company of Britney Black and Ms Monster once again. We hung on as long as we could but all good things must come to an end so around 3am we got some food from Marylins and ended up crashing back in my room. My buddy and I. Not the, not the girls. We should have been so lucky. And that is the end of day one of the  tradeshow.

TCT- Snap Back To Reality Edition part 1

Hello friends. My, my my is a culture shock being back in this seat. About a week ago I was a littler over an hour into my flight that was taking me out west to Las Vegas and BBW Fanfest. I was nervous as hell to get on the plane and start this journey but I did it. It was amazing. This is me trying to recall all the good stuff that happened. Hopefully it makes sense.

So the flight was pretty smooth. I had not been on a plane in over 12 years, let alone riding solo on one. Of course being a little wary of being up so high i was curious as to where I would end up sitting. Window seat, right on the wing. Seems about right, right? It was good though. Crazy seeing much of the country from that high up. We passed by one of those giant "anvil" clouds that usually mean tornados on the ground. It was monster. We flew right next to it and I saw lightning flashes all through it. Then not long after that we passed through some haze and cloud cover. You could feel how the weather was changing. The plane started shifting course a bit, tilted to one side and righted itself and looking out the window I saw it. One fleeting little glimpse, Las Vegas. The desert oasis of fun, frivolity and dreams. Landing was fine, the taxing to the gate took forever. Anyway, got my baggage with nary a scrap. Hailed a cab and was off to the Tuscany Hotel and Casino where all the events would be taking place.


The Tuscany really is a very beautiful hotel. Its off the main strip a bit, like a few blocks walking distance. I told some people to "step out of the hotel and take a left. when you hit Ballys you are there". I was right. i ended up making that little trek a couple times, both to and from the Tuscany. Thursday would be the welcome party at Club Plush, not until about 9 anyway. So I had time to kill. After letting people know that I had landed safely and announcing my arrival on Facebook and Twitter I figured I would take a little walk down to the strip.

Thursday was probably the hottest day we were there. Being someone that does not really liek or enjoy the heat I think I handled it very well. It was hot, dry and i was sweating like crazy. You really can't do anything about it though except deal with it and move on. There was a reason i brought so many changes of clothes. So yes there was The Strip. Just like in the movies and on tv. I had no idea how much it looked like a racetrack with its eight lanes of road between each side of the strip. WHo knew that Walgreens had one side and CVS had the other was well. I heard that about six times on sunday walking around. Thursday though I made it down the crossing by the Planet Hollywood Casino and then back up to the Ceasar's Palace crossing before going back to the hotel to stock up on supplies, load the fridge with beer and see what the hotel and casino looked like.

Later that night after getting dinner that the restaurant in the casino, big shoutout to the Marylin Cafe. Great food at cheap prices. I could not ask for anything better. So after dinner it was time to start. After trolling Twitter for a bit and doing some light recon i ended up meeting the gorgeous and sexy Lovely Silk @lovelysillk and her girl @femmekittybbw to catch a ride to Plush the Nightclub. After some waiting around some bad ideas we finally made to the club with the crew that ended up riding with us.

I will say at this point, my head is still spinning from arriving, being in Vegas, and meeting and seeing some of my favorite models already. I had now idea where the night would go or how the rest of the weekend would turn out.

@PLUSHNIGHTCLUB was amazing. The locale was a little to be desired but the security guards and bouncers were cool as hell. Guy told me I looked like a football player. Haha. So yeah another of my many firsts for the weekend. First time in the club, first time being a club that was completely set toward catering for BBW's and their admirers. Most of the the events I have ever been to are held in hotels ballrooms either for the night or for a few days. it felt nice being in a real club with a great bar, dj and dance floor. I almost ended up out there as well. Lots of mingling and people saying hello. All the featured girls and models had kinda set up on one side of the place. Silk and Femkitty were bouncing around saying hello and all that. I ended up staying alone for the remainder of the night.
I am so glad I did because while looking around the room I saw more and more of the beautiful and sexy women that I have adored show up. Including some that I was very surprised to see. It was around this time that a fun and feisty curvy girl came over and asked if i wanted to dance. I said yes, but I didnt know the song, so she asked if I wanted to go outside. Turns out while talking she was part of the burlesque troop that was going to be attending and performing. We exchanged business cards (my first time doing that for the weekend) and she had to get back inside. While i was talking with her, i turned and say that the awesome Deisree Devine was outside catching some air. Being that she was the reason i set myself right and got back into going to this thing I wanted to thank her (the first of many times) for letting me be included. She recognized my card and asked how I was. It was so crazy. I asked about getting set up in the morning and she said just follow the time sheet.  Its kinda fuzzy after that, I remember hanging around a bit more then taking a cab back to the hotel and calling a night to get ready for the next day, the first day of the tradeshow.

Hump Day - Return Edition

Helllloooooooo Las Vegas. Goodbye actually. I'm just as sad to have to leave you as I am to have to go trust me. Next year I'm going to come back bigger and better than I am now. Not in terms of size of myelf physically, but content and production wise yes I will. Fanfest was amazing. i can't say it enough. i still may be a bit jetlagged and fuzzy in the head, so the big Fanfest update will be up tomorrow I think.

Today though, since it has been a while since I have posted new art i figured I would at least post some Fanfest related material. While I was stationed at my table I had my sketchbook open and was keeping my self busy and trying to sell some work while sketching. I grabbed a couple magazines from the airport and the hotel and used them as reference. Other times I just did some light stuff based on existing prints. Some came out pretty well considering my mind was all over the place taking in the sights, meeting new people and whoring my art.

I'm Going In....to Sin City

Well here we are folks. Just one day away. This time tomorrow I will be nearing my arrival in Las Vegas to be a part of BBW Fanfest. I really can't believe its gonna happen.  I'm pretty sure I got everything i need with work and personal all set. I got my clothe and toiletries all set. I printed out I dont know how many versions of every list and piece of inventory i have... I actually do know its 212 prints available for sale. All individual or in sets of 3.

My head is starting to spin a litle. I'm gonna head to the gym in a  little while and make one more bank trip (hopefully) and then it will just be sit and rest time.  I really don't what else to say. I dont have too much to post this week. i will show a few highlights of getting ready though.

Remember this trip? This was just under 3 months ago in Connecticut. Crazy how big a step this ill be. You can bet I will have pics of what it looks like out there.

I am way too happy to be having these new clothes. If it weren't hot out here this time of year I would have broken them in a bit. Its gonna be hot as balls in Vegas I know but I still gotta look good right? First time owning a white shirt. Found a bigger size of my favorite purple shirt too. Upgrade.

Be on the lookout for this at Fanfest. I picked it up yesterday. Its awesome.
