TCT- Wildstyle Edition

Saw "The Lego Movie" over the weekend. It's a huge hit and it is no wonder why. It is in fact awesome. Great fun story with fun characters and great humor. The animation is stellar and adds to the story, humor and characters as all great animation should.

So after seeing it I figured I would feature the female star, Wildstyle, as only I can. I might work up some more ideas with her but for now this is what I got.

Thick Chick Thursday - Steady Going

So it has been a kind of up and down year so far for me. I have been trying to find a day job and keep the money coming with some commissions. I have some going, doing some small stuff but the day job is killing me. It sucks job hunting.

So to try and keep things going steadily I have a return to Thick Chick Thursday doing what I do best.

Sort of a variation on a theme with these girls. All from one sketch I did of a non octopus related sea witch. They seemed fun and worth adding some color too.

Thick Chick Thursday - Horsing Around

So things aren't going the way i'd like them in life right now. Been sick, and searching for a job while running out of money is no fun. I am doing my bes to keep my head up. Part of that has been sticking to artwork and doing what I love. So here is more of that to hopefully keep you all going as well.

Thick Chick Thursday - Christmas Closeout

Here we are friends. The last TCT of the year. Kinda sad isnt it? So many great times together this past year. The yearly recap will be continuing shortly but for today I give the last bit of new Christmas art.

It was an interesting holiday this year for sure. Had lots of great stuff posted and some stuff that will wait til next year to get reworked or new ideas flushed out.

So in the midst of all the recapping I got going on, I still have more new stuff to share this holiday season. We are closing in on the big day awfully fast. Hoping you got everything all set. My gifts are all bought and wrapped, awaiting placement under the tree.

TCT- Turkey Day Edition

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

And the Happiest and Thickest of Thick Chick Thursdays to you as well.

I hope that you are all well and looking forward to some aspect of the impending holiday season. I have  been working my hardest to recover from the minor surgery I had a month and half ago. it's going well. i got the okay to make my way back to the gym. Woooo!! I cannot wait. I've spent a little too much time laying around over eating and feeling sorry for myself. With this new season upon us and new year approaching i think it only fitting I commit to making myself better in all aspects.

So in honor of that day where we all gather together and stuff ourselves I give you my Thanksgiving post.
