Thick Chick Thursday - Haunting Hour Draws Near Edition

I am feeling better. Just wanted to get that out there. A little less stressed and worried, a little healthier physically. On the road to recovery and hopefully improvement soon.

As far as the art side of things goes?? I have been very very busy with. Like always the Halloween season brings out new ideas for me and constantly thinking of things that may or may not get done. So to celebrate the haunting season I am hoping to get some solid posts in the coming weeks.

Rabbit Rabbit

Welcome to July everyone. We are now cooking on all cylinders for the summer season here. The 4th is on Thursday and I am getting to work on a special holiday themed TCT posting for that day too.

For today though i thought I'd combine a couple posts into one. I missed Flashback Friday last week, so today being the first of the month and that old saying of "Rabbit, rabbit" on the first of the month i thought of a fun idea. Last week was the 25th anniversary of the release of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit". So what i was going to post on Friday was some of my works featuring Ms Rabbit herself. You get 3 theme posts for the price of one today.

TCT- Recap part 10

Its a double dip on this fine and chilly TCT. Getting further into fall now. Lots and lots of good stuff on tap. Hope you like seeing it all so soon. Seems only yesterday.....

Sneaking in another football set. I loved this campaign and was hoping it would make it through the whole season. I am really proud of this one too. One of the few times i focused on a make centered piece.

Back to lusciousness.

I loved the pic this one is based on so wanted to try to get one of my own. I <3 BBW.

Hump Day

We did it! We are over the hump folks. Nothing like that nice sight of freedom over the horizon. Well, maybe not for all of us. Go offered to work saturday again and I took it. Never been at a job that offered overtime before so I am taking it. The job is going well too. I can't help but notice that when I was out of work I'd waste hours trolling the internet. Now with the job I have most of the day I spend trolling the internet, except now  get paid while I do it. Sweet deal.


So Today i've got a mid week pick me up, as I always try to do. Working up some new stuff and hopefully keeping with the theme of the month. The Spooktacular rolls onward.

Starting off with a little tease for tomorrow.

So last year I had some fun with putting animated characters in other costumes.

This was last years take on the Rabbit family as the Caped Crusader, one of his femme fatales and his classic ride.

Well I really liked that Roger I did but wanted Benny and Jessica to look a little more badass and fit in better.

Hump Day - Rabbit Rabbit Edition

So i teased you all earlier today with a new post featuring lots of big new art. I am here to deliver on that promise. I will tell you how this post came to be as well.

I was awoken this morning around 7:30am to the sound of my soon to be 5yr old niece screaming that she wanted to wear a dress. Worst alarm clock ever. A friend of mine said i should take that clock back to Wal-Mart for a return. Haha. There are times.... anyway. Yeah I woke up and got my day going thinking about what to post. Today being August 1st, and that old saying that at the beginning of each month you should say 'Rabbit, Rabbit" first thing for good luck, came into my mind. I went from that to thinking of Jessica Rabbit and how some fans told me I should do some plumped up versions of her. I had two of her in my portfolio for Fanfest (yes another Fanfest mention) that got a lot of attention. So i figured I should.

Firstly, someone mentioned that they liked my XL Ariel but wished they could see her stomach. Well buddy, there ya go.

Secondly, since I was going with the Jessica Rabbit route i figured I would give some time to her blonde counterpart from "Cool World". She's got nothing on Ms Rabbit but still sexy.

Lastly, here she is in all her gorgeous ginger glory.
