TCT- Snap Back To Reality part 5

So that is pretty much the long and short of it. I could just go on and on about but some of the thoughts and views I have about certain things are best heard and seen. So to help with that I will now do the obligatory Vegas pic post. the good thing about some of these pics is that I have not seem some of them when other people experience Vegas. Some are out of order but the are all real I assure you.

The first time i was brave enough to for a pic with the gorgeous beautiful and insanely talented Scarlette VaVoom. I couldn't photoshop that to make it look more fake right?

This would be Scarlette, the oh so nice Tyung Lee, Kitty Spankxalot and Coco. I didnt take this shot but saw it in action.

Blasting off into the night on sunday, going to cause trouble.

I finally found old Vegas. At the Plaza for the Well Rounded event. Place is crazy cool.

Thats pretty much it for the visuals. I wanted to take more pics but really was super busy and didnt want to be all touristy.

So to finally end this diatribe and rambling session I am going to leave with something that was inspired by the reading of "Sterling's Gold". Here is a list of sights, feelings and thoughts that will not go forgotten anytime soon:

TCT- Snap Back To Reality Edition part 3 and 4

Saturday. Got up early again and hit the fitness center. Felt good having a whole place like that to myself for the most part. I had to do my best to look good right?

Got setup around 10:30am again and prepared for another day at the booth. Everyone was filling in a little slower than the day before. The two models on either side of me were pretty busy all weekend. making new deals and meeting fans. I got some overflow from them which was very good. I got some more notice and more business cards taken. Lots of connections being made.

I want to give a special shoutout and recognize another member of the crew who was putting on this show. @JessikaVegas was so great to everyone going around and checking on us all and seeing if we needed anything more. She was very sweet and helped me feel a little more relaxed and prouder to be showing off my work. I think I owe her a dance.

Another highlight that I was looking forward to was the chance to meet one of my favorite women @jezebeljolie . However she was extremely busy. I did get my hug and the chance for her to check out my work too so that was great. Maybe next time I'll get to see her gorgeous eyes even more.

The other bonus to that was meeting new friends. @CurvyScarlette was kinda posted near me. Being that I was promoting myself as well as checking other's actions through twitter for the whole event we ended up striking up a conversation and  connection through twitter. She is incredibly cool and sexy. Really can a hot redhead curvy woman be any other way?? She helped shop me around a bit and got my name thrown around a bit.

Not long after that, like i said the afternoons really picked up. I was approached by one of the ladies from @SinCityBounty the internet radio show out of Las Vegas that deals with dating bigger women, relationships and helping to promote all aspects of the BBW world and industry. If you think I was tongue tied when I met Scarlette VaVoom then you know the dribble that just came out of my mouth when answering my first question. Once again all the ladies there were fun as hell, so sweet and just the right amount of naughty to get me through it. i even managed to slip on the "Don Draper Facade" and came up with a new tag line and hashtag. Yup. That really happened.

Not long after was the next big event for the weekend. My first sale. 

I was seeing green for sure.

To top it all off the ladies asked me to join them at their table for the Awards Banquet. If ever there was a place that i felt I snuck into it was there. The award show was great and it was so good to see and hear all the girls show their love and support for each other. Like Desiree said "Its not a fetish its a preference." I could not agree more and this whole event really showed that off. Aside from sitting with the Sin City Bounty girls i got to see the solo performance from Scarlette Vavoom. Yup. ;)

So after the award show as the after party. However being a little worn out and not sure when everyone would be coming back I did make it an early night. Too early from what I hear but still what a great day.

Sunday morning was a rough one for everyone. Turns out that after party really did go late into the night/early morning. Did I miss out on some fun? Yes i probably did but i was hoping for one last big push. Everyone was a little slow getting into the show but i held on and ended up getting some work sold.

I was tired myself but it was great. The beautiful @LexxxiLuxe and @MaggieDubonet asked if I would draw them as a couple super heroes. I was more than happy to oblige and did a fairly good job as well.

So it was kind of a chill day there at the tradeshow. Lots of everyone walking around. i got the chance to scope out the rest of the floor and see what other fun was going on. Wow. Some of the sights. Damn what a great time. After hanging around a bit, getting to film the girls from Voluptuous Entertainment do their thing the day got better and better.

Adding to that was another sale of some art.

Like i said on twitter, "The 'D' is silent, but the cash register isnt".

So how do you close out an epic event like this? I had dinner with the Voluptuous Entertainment girls at the House of Blues. The food was alright, the company was even better but the best part was the ride there. I was in the back with Daisi and Coco with Kitty riding shotgun and Scarlette driving. At one point Kitty turned around to see me crammed in the back and said "Ohhh poor Mike." To which i responded "Oh yeah, it sucks being me right now." I assure you it did not.

TCT- Snap Back To Reality Edition part 1

Hello friends. My, my my is a culture shock being back in this seat. About a week ago I was a littler over an hour into my flight that was taking me out west to Las Vegas and BBW Fanfest. I was nervous as hell to get on the plane and start this journey but I did it. It was amazing. This is me trying to recall all the good stuff that happened. Hopefully it makes sense.

So the flight was pretty smooth. I had not been on a plane in over 12 years, let alone riding solo on one. Of course being a little wary of being up so high i was curious as to where I would end up sitting. Window seat, right on the wing. Seems about right, right? It was good though. Crazy seeing much of the country from that high up. We passed by one of those giant "anvil" clouds that usually mean tornados on the ground. It was monster. We flew right next to it and I saw lightning flashes all through it. Then not long after that we passed through some haze and cloud cover. You could feel how the weather was changing. The plane started shifting course a bit, tilted to one side and righted itself and looking out the window I saw it. One fleeting little glimpse, Las Vegas. The desert oasis of fun, frivolity and dreams. Landing was fine, the taxing to the gate took forever. Anyway, got my baggage with nary a scrap. Hailed a cab and was off to the Tuscany Hotel and Casino where all the events would be taking place.


The Tuscany really is a very beautiful hotel. Its off the main strip a bit, like a few blocks walking distance. I told some people to "step out of the hotel and take a left. when you hit Ballys you are there". I was right. i ended up making that little trek a couple times, both to and from the Tuscany. Thursday would be the welcome party at Club Plush, not until about 9 anyway. So I had time to kill. After letting people know that I had landed safely and announcing my arrival on Facebook and Twitter I figured I would take a little walk down to the strip.

Thursday was probably the hottest day we were there. Being someone that does not really liek or enjoy the heat I think I handled it very well. It was hot, dry and i was sweating like crazy. You really can't do anything about it though except deal with it and move on. There was a reason i brought so many changes of clothes. So yes there was The Strip. Just like in the movies and on tv. I had no idea how much it looked like a racetrack with its eight lanes of road between each side of the strip. WHo knew that Walgreens had one side and CVS had the other was well. I heard that about six times on sunday walking around. Thursday though I made it down the crossing by the Planet Hollywood Casino and then back up to the Ceasar's Palace crossing before going back to the hotel to stock up on supplies, load the fridge with beer and see what the hotel and casino looked like.

Later that night after getting dinner that the restaurant in the casino, big shoutout to the Marylin Cafe. Great food at cheap prices. I could not ask for anything better. So after dinner it was time to start. After trolling Twitter for a bit and doing some light recon i ended up meeting the gorgeous and sexy Lovely Silk @lovelysillk and her girl @femmekittybbw to catch a ride to Plush the Nightclub. After some waiting around some bad ideas we finally made to the club with the crew that ended up riding with us.

I will say at this point, my head is still spinning from arriving, being in Vegas, and meeting and seeing some of my favorite models already. I had now idea where the night would go or how the rest of the weekend would turn out.

@PLUSHNIGHTCLUB was amazing. The locale was a little to be desired but the security guards and bouncers were cool as hell. Guy told me I looked like a football player. Haha. So yeah another of my many firsts for the weekend. First time in the club, first time being a club that was completely set toward catering for BBW's and their admirers. Most of the the events I have ever been to are held in hotels ballrooms either for the night or for a few days. it felt nice being in a real club with a great bar, dj and dance floor. I almost ended up out there as well. Lots of mingling and people saying hello. All the featured girls and models had kinda set up on one side of the place. Silk and Femkitty were bouncing around saying hello and all that. I ended up staying alone for the remainder of the night.
I am so glad I did because while looking around the room I saw more and more of the beautiful and sexy women that I have adored show up. Including some that I was very surprised to see. It was around this time that a fun and feisty curvy girl came over and asked if i wanted to dance. I said yes, but I didnt know the song, so she asked if I wanted to go outside. Turns out while talking she was part of the burlesque troop that was going to be attending and performing. We exchanged business cards (my first time doing that for the weekend) and she had to get back inside. While i was talking with her, i turned and say that the awesome Deisree Devine was outside catching some air. Being that she was the reason i set myself right and got back into going to this thing I wanted to thank her (the first of many times) for letting me be included. She recognized my card and asked how I was. It was so crazy. I asked about getting set up in the morning and she said just follow the time sheet.  Its kinda fuzzy after that, I remember hanging around a bit more then taking a cab back to the hotel and calling a night to get ready for the next day, the first day of the tradeshow.

TCT - Road Trip Edition

Not much to post this week. It might be the biggest Thick Chick Thursday ever though.

Heading to Vegas for BBW Fanfest.
