We continue on with the Halloween Hotties series on this the 3rd Thick Chick Thursday of the month. I am really happy with how these came out. Hope you are too.
Go on, show her ya boomstick.
Here is a preview of more the fun i have coming up soon.
So it's Columbus Day here in the US. Its Canadian Thansgiving, sometime this past weekend. I always try to post on holidays so here is one. It's gotten a lot of attention on Facebook so i figured I should share it here and make it official.
We all love Halloween. We all love Elvira. Here is what is hopefully the beginning of a new tradition. All hail the curvy Queen of Screams. The Mistress of the Dark. Elvira.
Happy Friday everyone. There is lots of things going on in my world. I have been out sick most of this past week so thats the reason for no postings this week. My day job schedule is shifting dramatically as well. I will know the future of it soon. I am hoping that more time will be made to work on commission pieces. I have 3 going at the moment. Each at a different stage of production. Should there be a lot more time to allow more work I will let you know. We could be running things very productively here in the studio.
Speaking of being productive I have some fun stuff to share this week. I also have a question for you all. I have been asked several time if I am going to be going to BBW Fanfest this year. As of this moment I do not know. My financial situation isnt ideal for that right now, especially with potential day job shifts. There has been a lot of use and talk of the Kickstarter funding site. If i were to start the use of that, how big of an interest would there to be to help get my ass ready and out to Vegas. I know there is a lot of you supporters out there so please let me know.
Now onto the fun stuff...
Trying to vary up some of the work I do. As you can see these two are not the usualy BBW pin-ups. 'Game of Thrones' is back and man do i love this show. Here is a take on Dany and Tyrion. Hope you like them.
A little more in line with what I usually do, here is my take of working off the character of "Angel". She is from the short lived Hanna-Barbera series "Fish Police". I really enjoyed working with here and plan to do more stuff like this in the future.
Lastly, tonight is the opening night for "Talk Nerdy to Me." The show that my friends in Voluptuous Entertainment are putting on in SoCal. If you are able to go out and check them out.
So continuing on with the new day job schedule, which has turned into a mainly night job, I am working on new art stuffs during the mornings here at the studio. I recently put the finishing touches on a long commission project that I will post about when i get the OK from the client. She was very great to work with and I can't wait to show you all.
I lined up a few more pieces too, very exciting projects, and I still have one more commission to finish as well. However to keep things moving along and try different stuff I have been drawing different stuff. So with a big tv premiere this week i figured I would try my hand at a few of the best characters on the show. Of course I am talking about "Game of Thrones". I saw a few great publicity pics and wanted to work off of them so here are those.
Back again with another edition of Full Color Friday. Hope your week has been going alright and that you all get to enjoy the three day weekend in some manner. It would mean more if i had a job to escape from but I am hoping to go out at some point and see people that i love to party with and have a good time.
Remember that the heavenly Bodies event is going down starting tonight in Burlington MA. Please go and check it out. They have supported my art and treat me very well. If you do go tell them that Mike aka MacSketchy sent you and maybe I can pull some strings on that admission fee. Getting paid in trade sometimes has its benefits ya know.
So today i got something kinda cool. i recently did a plumper version of Giselle from Disney's "Enchanted". I like how it came out and some of you did as well. So I wanted to work with here again. I figured it would be a good featured post on here. You might have noticed her up top of the page already but here she is in all her curvy and plumped up glory.
So here is another take on her with a little something extra. I really enjoy drawing her. SHe has such great lines. Nothing annoying or straight about it slow things down.
This one is a cool little idea I had too. I've seen a lot of people do their takes on the Disney princesses dressed as their respective antagonists. So here is my spin on it. Not only do we have a plumped up Giselle, but she is in her antagonists makeup and colors. She came out really well. Hoping to do more of this kinda thing soon.
Thats it for today. Hope you all get your weekend started off right.
