Thick Chick Thursday - Steady Going

So it has been a kind of up and down year so far for me. I have been trying to find a day job and keep the money coming with some commissions. I have some going, doing some small stuff but the day job is killing me. It sucks job hunting.

So to try and keep things going steadily I have a return to Thick Chick Thursday doing what I do best.

Sort of a variation on a theme with these girls. All from one sketch I did of a non octopus related sea witch. They seemed fun and worth adding some color too.

Tide Change Tuesday

Alright folks I have some news.

For sometime I was operating on the assistance of Unemployment funds from the state of Massachusetts. As of last week i was cut off. I am still unemployed but in the day job/steady paycheck world. This sucks. it is not how I wanted to start the year off like. After having a pretty good holiday with the family, and getting some great artwork on here, i got knocked down a few pegs.

I have been here before but not as bad as I fear it can get. I am still living with the family, and very grateful for that and that I have them. They are going to do their best to help me but really it is up to me to set things right and get back on my feet.

As far as artwork goes. I may have some stuff coming up soon that is different, but pay is not guaranteed. I love creating and showing off my new pieces on here. I plan to continue to do so.

I guess what I am saying is, if you feel so inclined, head over to the blog and hit that little donate button on there. Any and all support and help is appreciated and will not go unnoticed.

As far as commissions and freelance gigs go...SCHEDULE IS WIDE OPEN!!! I am so available it hurts. Whatever you have in mind I would be most happy to help you realize your ideas and vision. Do not hesitate to ask me. Please.

Believe it or not this may be the first time I have really drawn Urusla. It is so much fun. I really dig the eels as well. So many damn curves.

TCT- Bonus Disney Villain

So while working up the plus sized versions of the "Frozen" girls, I had a thought about someone else in the Disney world with some wild white hair. I have always added some weight and curves to the Disney ladies, but what about the one lady that doesn't need anything extra? Well I finally worked up a few pieces to allow here to show off her curves.

So from the snow covered mountains, we go under the sea.

Boy she is fun to draw.

Thick Chick Thursday - Haunting Hour Draws Near Edition

I am feeling better. Just wanted to get that out there. A little less stressed and worried, a little healthier physically. On the road to recovery and hopefully improvement soon.

As far as the art side of things goes?? I have been very very busy with. Like always the Halloween season brings out new ideas for me and constantly thinking of things that may or may not get done. So to celebrate the haunting season I am hoping to get some solid posts in the coming weeks.
