I Can Also Draw Men

So, this blog was made so that I could feature a lot of my BBW and chubby girl artwork. I also like to feature other pieces that I am proud of or working. I have gone from BBWs to warrior bears, to football players to fantasy creatures.

This post is one of the few that kinda just features a regular guy. Nothing really special about it. I got hooked up with a small art job for group on the west coast. I am more than happy to get the work. I was given the description of "A man holding a trash can full of money....A haappy looking man." Okay....well I wasn't sure on where to go with that so these are the ones that I came up with first.

Nothing too special about or distracting about them right. I was really open to anything more they wanted to suggest. So they ended up picking the last one but they wanted me to make him African-American and work off some reference from a rap video.

So from there I got these.

These are the two that I came up with. I figured I would see what I could do with some light inking. I really like how they came out.

I wanted to try out a new coloring idea too that I figured might fit the job a little better. Did it ever. They look damn good and as the finish product shows it suits the whole project very well.

Fat Tuesday

Happy Mardi Gras everyone!!! Hope you all get to go out and celebrate the last night of the feast to end all feasts. At least that's what my understanding of the day has become. I know its got something to do with the whole Lent thing and you are supposed to go out and have one last bash before giving up something and learning to better yourself for forty days and nights. I'm not religious so if that is completely wrong I apologize and would more than like it if you could explain it to me.

Really though a day that translates to 'Fat Tuesday' and you thought I wouldn't have a post on it? ;)

Of course the biggest thing everyone knows in the party down in New Orleans. I know more about that than the church stuff  so I will stick to that theme. It also sounds like a lot more fun. So going off of that theme I have come up with more than a few ladies that would make a killing down there with beads. I could think of nothing I would like to see more now too. So here ya go. No need to chant for 'em. Here we go.  Show 'em if you got 'em!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!

What you probably dont know about me is that I am quite the hopeless romantic. I do have a softer side. It has not come out as of recently but it's there. I am single this year on Valentine's Day, again. I dont really have a problem with. Not the first time, I haven'y had a girlfriend or a Valentine since my first steady girlfriend about 6yrs ago. Not looking for sympathy just saying I am kind of okay. Would I like one for some romantic-ish fun tonight? Sure. Not gonna sweat it though.

There is a part of me that I am happy I dont have to deal with taking care of someone for the holiday. I was at the pharmacy yesterday and I almost got ill listening to few husbands discuss the day and what they are doing for their wives. Yikes. So I like to think that I got it all balanced out.

What I can't stand is when people are all "Ya know what the real reason for the day is? To sell candy". Look its a harmless day for some fun, if people wanna make a profit off it then good for them. Lets keep the economy going and keep the candy makers making candy. Get over yourselves. Some people like all the pinks and purples and reds around. Go enjoy Arbor Day.


Speaking of making money off the holiday...here are some of my takes on Cupid. I will be cleaning up and coloring a few of these. Had a lot of fun drawing them. Hope you enjoy it.

Treat Me Right

Its pretty obvious that I am a big supporter and lover of a lot of the members of the BBW community. I get involved in all aspects as well from normal practices of looking out for bigger girls being looked down upon to supporting those that make a living off oh how they look. I have no issues with this practice at all. Some of the best people I've met online have been involved in the adult industry in some way. They have also given me support and work from time to time.
So whenever I can I like to pay them back and show support in other ways. One such woman that has really helped me out and kept me going is Ms Brittany Black. I met her on twitter and have seen her on cam a few times. While never actually getting a show from her specifically I can tell you she does great work and will really treat you well. She is funny, sexy, fun and gorgeous. I like to consider her a friend and after I got a XXXmas card from her (like what i did there?) I told myself I would pay her back and honor her. So here it is.

Disappointment abound

Yes the Pats lost. Yes it sucks. I'm still trying to work on getting some other updated posts on the pieces i was doing. I cant believe we will have to wait 'til September now for football again. Thank god for hockey. I am sure there will be plenty of hockey sketches coming soon too.

Adding to the disappointment this week has been the ongoing saga of what I thought would be a fun paying gig done for a women on the west coast that was referred to me. Most of the project went well but when I tried to make things better, knowing that they would be better, she resisted and it has been pretty annoying dealing with her. I have a feeling that the project may be dead and I may have gotten ripped off.

So feeling this way I am going to share all the work I did for that project on here, where I know you all might appreciate it a bit more.

I figured it would be nice to make a return for a little theme that I like to keep going on here too.

Happy Thick Chick Thursday everyone.

So these first few are the rough stagings and sketches i did for the promotional image. They wanted a white girl, a latina girl and the last one to kinda look like the client. These are the strongest ones. I feel that the first two are really the best put together and work off each other really well.

These two are the cleaned up colored versions of the latina and white girl. I really like the white girl. The latina girls pose is kind of awkward but thats what they wanted.

Now this is where the trouble comes in. I tried my best to make it look as much like her as I could. I think I did a damn fine job. Sometimes when i do semi portraits and try to really nail the likeness it doesnt work out and the client is that happy with it. Now either I am biased to my own work or I just suck and dont know it. Let me know.

Here is the final piece. The name of the company and everything. So if you go to check it out let them know where ya saw it. I'm not even sure what they are gonna do but there ya have it.

The most super of bowls

Its finally here. The end of the season. It has been a great ride and it all comes down to tonight. One shall stand, one shall fall. To the victor go the spoils. A game to end all games. All those hype things. Its Patriots vs Giants. New York vs New England. May the best team win.
