Hump Day - Return Edition

Helllloooooooo Las Vegas. Goodbye actually. I'm just as sad to have to leave you as I am to have to go trust me. Next year I'm going to come back bigger and better than I am now. Not in terms of size of myelf physically, but content and production wise yes I will. Fanfest was amazing. i can't say it enough. i still may be a bit jetlagged and fuzzy in the head, so the big Fanfest update will be up tomorrow I think.

Today though, since it has been a while since I have posted new art i figured I would at least post some Fanfest related material. While I was stationed at my table I had my sketchbook open and was keeping my self busy and trying to sell some work while sketching. I grabbed a couple magazines from the airport and the hotel and used them as reference. Other times I just did some light stuff based on existing prints. Some came out pretty well considering my mind was all over the place taking in the sights, meeting new people and whoring my art.

Hope you enjoy them.

This one was very appropriate for the spot i was in. Being across for the plus size burlesque troop it seemed fitting that Ms Gypsy Rose Lee should be drawn. "Let Me Entertain You" is right alright.

Hello all. Made it back a successful and adventurous stay out in Vegas for Fanfest. if you thought me going out there was the end of me talking about it you are wrong. Lots to catch up on.

I'm Going In....to Sin City

Well here we are folks. Just one day away. This time tomorrow I will be nearing my arrival in Las Vegas to be a part of BBW Fanfest. I really can't believe its gonna happen.  I'm pretty sure I got everything i need with work and personal all set. I got my clothe and toiletries all set. I printed out I dont know how many versions of every list and piece of inventory i have... I actually do know its 212 prints available for sale. All individual or in sets of 3.

My head is starting to spin a litle. I'm gonna head to the gym in a  little while and make one more bank trip (hopefully) and then it will just be sit and rest time.  I really don't what else to say. I dont have too much to post this week. i will show a few highlights of getting ready though.

Remember this trip? This was just under 3 months ago in Connecticut. Crazy how big a step this ill be. You can bet I will have pics of what it looks like out there.

I am way too happy to be having these new clothes. If it weren't hot out here this time of year I would have broken them in a bit. Its gonna be hot as balls in Vegas I know but I still gotta look good right? First time owning a white shirt. Found a bigger size of my favorite purple shirt too. Upgrade.

Be on the lookout for this at Fanfest. I picked it up yesterday. Its awesome.

Bright Light City Gonna Set My Soul On Fire

Hello, hello, hello.
How is everyone doing? I am finally recovering from all the fun and frivolity from the holiday and the big festival in town here. It is crazy to think about all the stuff that has gone on in the past couple weeks.
However all that pales in comparison to what will be happening later this week. Through some magic of kindness (my parents) and thoughts and working........ I am going to BBW Fanfest. I will be featured in the trade floor and getting a chance to show off and sell some of my works. I can't believe this is actually happening and its all kind of a blur. I am getting excited and nervous. I have not flown or traveled this big in a long time. Last time I was on a plane was in 2000 and it was to go down to Disney. Vegas is a little different than that. I have never been this far west and am really looking forward to experiencing this big moment in my life.
I think that if you can, please stop by and visit the Fanfest even if you can't attend everything. Please come out and support all the ladies and businesses that will be present. I am trying to keep my mind focused on the work and selling and making connections, but all the fun and sexiness going down is kinda hard to ignore.
I was holding out on making this trip this widely known since I wanted to make sure it was happening for real. Well, I leave thursday morning so its pretty damn close.

I wanna take the time to thank everyone that has come by this page, my deviantart page, my twitter and all the other sites i post artwork and links on. It means a lot to have this support and interest in my work. I could just keep all the works to myself but its because of you that i found a spot to put this stuff out there.

Thick Chick Thursday

So things have been pretty busy the past few days and week actually. They are only getting more and more crazy too. Big things are happening with my art and I am taking a giant step to get my art out there and noticed. i will let you know what that is, some of you already know, when I feel comfortable telling your. Fingers crossed everything gets lined up and in order in time.

Until then, enjoy some new shit.

So these lovely ladies will all be featured in my upcoming showcase. I really like how they came out. I have been going crazy adding color and effects to some of my better works.

Hump Day - Stars and Stripes Edition

Happy Fourth Of July!!!! One of my favorite holidays of the year. I used to really dig it when i was younger and all the family and friends of the family would come to our little house and we'd have a big ole cookout and then go watch the parade. After that we would go down to the bonfire. *sigh* those were the days. Now i can't stand my family and the friends have all but disappeared.

But whining and longing for the days gone by is not what this day is about. No. Today we show support and recognize all those that make this country great. Some people may not always agree with how its run, or who is in charge but really we could be in a worse situation than we are now right. So raise a drink and cheers to the red, white and blue. May those colors never fade and one day return to shine the brighter.
