Tooned Up Tuesday

I feel like it has been too long since i posted. It's true. I have been dealing with life issues. Hopefully some will be resolved soon. I've got some fun stuff to share today and working on new themes to post in the coming week.

A new season means  new ideas for sure. Get ready for another page revamp.

Also this weekend brings one of the best and biggest BBW Bashes on the east coast. Hopefully you can come check it out this weekend. I am polishing my dancing shoes as well speak. Here are the details.

So those were some attempts at adding some weight to Ms Kim Possible. Not bad for a first try right?

Here are some pieces that I did for a recent commission as well. the client and recipient of the pieces were both beyond thrilled wich is the best compliment I can get.

Theatrical Thick Chick Thursday

Sorry for slow posting week. Haven't been doing much,besides dealing with family stuff and some slight depression. It sucks getting in shitty slow moods sometimes, and I am trying to work through it. Hopefully soon.

Since I was a little lost on what to get started on this week, I figured I would go back and fix up a past piece. I have always love Broadway and show tunes, so it's only fitting that I feature some pieces that I did based on musicals and musical numbers from movies. I have done some before, the "Oliver" poster and used "Nine" as inspiration for a piece I did last year. Late last year with the "Les Miserables" film version of the musical I went back and worked up a few ideas based on the  'Master of the House' number. I used the stage version and the film version for inspiration. So without further ado, here we go.

Friendly Friday

Hello all. I have something a little different to post today. You know that sometimes I get serious on this page, usually about the bullshit in my life, but today its time to get serious about someone else. There are a few people out there that i have become , not close friends with, but friendly and supportive and them of me. I am always flattered when my pages and artwork gets noticed by professionals. Be they artists, promoters or the models and women that continually inspire my art. Today I am showing my support for one such model and all around awesome woman.

Betty Blac, was one of those women that floored me when i saw her in person last year at BBW Fanfest. I never got a chance to chat with her there, truthfully I was too intimidated to go talk to her cause she is that good looking. We chatted on twitter a bit afterwards, and I was floored again when she complimented my art. She as quickly become one of the more amazing and gorgeous models out there today and doesn't always get enough respect.

She has a tumblr page here where she does share some of her personal views and just things about her life. Well as of late she needs some help. She can describe it better than I can, but she is asking for some help and support in finding a new place to live. She's got links on her tumblr, her Facebook page , and her twitter pages. Any and all help you can add to her will be much appreciated. I am just trying to show off support to someone I admire.

Full Color Friday

So I was a little alte working on this weeks Thick Chick Thrusday. I actually got tired of working on the computer and shut down early last night. Distracted by preseason football, Hollywood Game Night and some other things *cough* PlumperPass *cough*

So today i have the finished works for the theme that I wanted for TCT. It is Shark Week. I don't get as excited about it as some people. From what i have heard it has lost its luster this year anyway. Too many fake and dramatic shows and not enough realness. Well a few years ago I did a quick piece and figured I would return to it this year. Hope you enjoy it.

Hump Day

I havent had a post on a Hump Day in a while. So here is one.

I have been busy doing work for my family, and actively looking for a well paying steady day job as well. The art has certainly taken up much of my time but nothing major. I finished up the commissions I was working on as well.

So here is some fun stuff that I may have not posted yet.
