Thick Thursday

It's been a while since I had a proper art posting on here. I am fixing that today with a special edition of Thick Thursday. I am loving working with the Disney Princesses and have expanded my works into further geekdom.
Really enjoying playing with the Mother of Dragons, Danaerys Targaryen, from Game of Thrones. Hope you like it all too.

First up I was having some fun with a forgotten Disney dame. Elisa Maza from "Gargoyles" in her human form and from that time she got turned into a Gargoyle. God I love this show.

I would bow down to her any day.

 

Really liking how they came out and cant wait to color them.

Summah Time

Its officially the 3rd season of the year. The weather sure feels like it up here in New England. Hope you are all doing well.
Here is a little welcome sign to the new season, and a few old favorites.

A Friendly Update

Well, folks, another work week has come to an end. I realize that some of the lamenting and bitching about work stuff gets old, so Iwanted to give out a little update.

I am adjusting and semi settling into the position as best I can. I understand that there will always be stresss and bullshit to deal with. I am doing my best to deal with those instances as best I can and in a positive manner. Things at the job have been reworked a bit to help all of us there with that as well.
I am never not grateful and happy to be working. Looking at a weekly pay statement is always a great site, despite how fast it goes some times. This new job has allowed me to build up my life a bit more and do a lot of fun and exciting things even in the short time I have been there.

I am also very grateful and happy to have the people in my life I do. Those that are close to me are the best they could be. Be they friends, family or somewhere in between . Having your care and support will forever mean the world to me. My family most of all. They are not on here and I want people to know that they do a lot for me and I so thankful for them.

My sister got arrested again this week. Supposedly she had been doing better, and from what I heard living and working in Rockport. Well the good times don't last long with her and there is always some way to fuck it up in her world. Its sad and frustrating hearing news like this, especially with all the court bullshit my parents have to go through to ensure that proper care is taken for her kids. Her exhusband is a major assholefuckupdipshitbastard and causes my parents so much grief because he says that he "cares" for the kids. He is a bad person, the kids deserve better than just having that parent "want" them.
My sister is one fucked up person. I don't know what's wrong with her and never will. I just know that it makes me sad to know that no matter how good she says she's doing, or we hear she's doing, there is always that day short after that when we hear of bad news.

Tomorrow I am babysitting the kids, my niece and nephew, while my mother takes my father to get another medical procedure done. It's been a long road this year and Dad is really doing great. This one is just a long time coming. I do this for my parents not only because they ask me, but because I want to. I love supporting them as much as they are supporting me. I do not know what the rest of the year will be bringing for the family, but I know that we will all continue to love an care for those that we hold dearest.

I hope you can as well. Everyone that is special to you should know it.

Really enjoying the boom of Ninja Turtles art I am working on. I had forgotten how fun they were to draw. This set is a variation on a theme mostly.

Love how these ladies came out.

I am very happy with how this plus sized pixie came out. The newest addition to the Dinsey Fairy collection, the Pirate Fairy, Zarina. I figured it was fitting to add some curvage to here since she is voiced by Christina Hendricks.
